NETWORK CARD INSTALLATION

PleasefollowthefollowinginstructionstoinstallyournewUSBwireless

network card.

1. InserttheUSBwirelessnetworkcardintoanemptyUSB2.0portofyour

computer when computer is switched on.

Never use force to insert the card, if you feel it’s stuck, ﬂip the card over

andtryagain.

2.Thefollowingmessagewillappearonyourcomputer,click‘Cancel’.

3.InsertdevicedriverCDROMintotheCD/DVDROMdriveofyourcomputer,

andexecute‘Setup.exe’program.Pleasereadtheenduserlicense

agreementandclick‘Iacceptthetermsofthelicenseagreement’and

‘Next’toacceptlicenseagreement.

4.Itisrecommendinstallingdriverandutilityifthenetworkcardisinstalling

thersttime.Ifyouwanttoupdatethedriveronly,choose’Installdriver

only’.Click‘Next’tocontinue.

5.Youcanchoosethecongurationtoolusedtocongurethewireless

networkcardhere.It’srecommendedtoselect‘RalinkCongurationTool’,

which provides fully access to all functions of this wireless network card.

IfyouprefertousethewirelesscongurationtoolprovidedbyWindows

XPorVista,pleaseselect‘MicrosoftZeroCongurationTool’thenclick

‘Next’.

3.Seilpuntodiaccessowirelessutilizzaunacodica,ènecessarioinserire

lachiaveWEPoWPApre-shared.Rivolgersialproprietariodelpuntodi

accessowirelessacuicisivuolecollegareedinserirelachiavecorretta.

Successivamentefareclicsu"OK".Se il valore che è stato inserito

non fosse corretto, non sarà possibile collegarsi al punto di accesso

wireless.

4.Secisiècollegaticonsuccessoalpuntodiaccessowireless,sarà

visualizzato il simbolo

 innanzi al nome del dispositivo wireless.
